Abstract:
The instrumentation amplifier (IA) is one of the most important block in ECG recording system. In this paper, an IA is presented that achieves low power dissipation and low noise. To reduce the effect of noise while stabilizing the output DC level, a chopper stabilized technique has been implemented. A low power operational transconductance amplifer (OTA) has been used in the designing of OTA. The proposed IA operates on 1.8 V supply. The proposed IA has been implemented in CADENCE 180 nm CMOS technology.
