Micro Climate Prediction Utilising Machine Learning Approaches

The current study focuses on predicting the wind speed on short-term weather conditions for maritime vessels weather station. Several machine learning models were developed for different forecasting horizons and their efficiency for this study was evaluated across a number of metrics. A regression machine learning algorithm was chosen for sea trials on Lincoln vessels.
