The Research Trends of Partnership Based on Scientific Publications

Partnership increasingly payed attention by researchers. We implemented a scientometrics analysis on 10,314 articles with `partnership' in its title that indexed by Scopus in the last decade. We introduced a simple semi-manual clustering on articles' keywords to make scientometrics analysis more effective. We found that articles on partnership considered important and qualified. The most prolific countries were USA and UK, and the most sponsors were from USA and UK. It shows that sponsors affect the countries' prolific but not the quality. The best in articles quality were from Netherland, Canada, and France. Current research trends on partnership were on subtopic public-private partnership, education, development, management, and research. Our prediction using linear regression shows that those sub-topics still dominate the research trends for the next three years, but partnership in research will surpass partnership in management.
