Abstract:

The air quality affects human health and energy. High levels of carbon dioxide in the air can cause serious ailments of a human body. Due to the increased attention to this issue, it is necessary to develop air quality control devices. The project is supposed to construct a prototype of the device for monitoring the content of carbon dioxide in indoor air. The development is based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller board, MH-Z19 NDIR infrared gas module, temperature and humidity module AM2302 and the LCD1602 module which is a interfaced to an I2C daughter board. The sensor control program is developed and compiled in the IDE software shell. The operating principle of the device is that it displays the data (CO2 level, temperature and humidity indoor) from the sensors on the LCD screen with a frequency of five minutes.
