Electrical Conductivity Study of Composite Nanomaterials Containing Carbon Nanotubes

A composite nanomaterial was studied in the composition of acrylic paint and single-walled carbon nanotubes (~ 2 wt.%). The samples had the shape of a disk with a diameter of 20-30 mm and a thickness of 0.005-0.5 mm. It was found that heat treatment (more than 10 hours) at a temperature of 120-140 °C increases the conductivity an order of magnitude or more and reaches a maximum value of ~ 40 S/m. The prospects of using this composite nanomaterial in the development and creation of various medical products, including artificial nerves or patches on organs requiring electrical conductivity, are noted.
