Investigation of Methods of Calculating Gaussian Function for Embedded Systems

This article presents a review of software and hardware-based methods of the Gaussian function evaluation for embedded systems. These methods were compared by speed, precision and, as a tradeoff, by used hardware. Also different practical implementations of Gaussian function evaluations were proposed and analyzed.
