Time and space variations of dynamic traffic information on a traffic control system

This paper studies time and space variation dynamic traffic information on a traffic control system. The traffic control system is constructed combining a signal control system and a dynamic route guidance system. Applying the traffic control system, the traffic network is used most effectively about reducing both the congestion length and the mean travel time. Dynamic traffic information of the trallic control Systems are classified from viewpoints of static dynamic and input / output. Dynamic traffic information and evaluated as follows: The capacity of a signalized intersection is evaluated by signalling up each lane capacity. The queue length is evaluated based on the volutrie balance at each signalized in intersection. Three signal control parameters are evaluated by signal control Algorithms. The mean travel time from a drivers origin to his destination is evaluated by an optimal route guidance algorithm.
