Vision 2050 of the UAE in Intelligent Mobility

Due to the rapid development of software engineering, it is important to identify opportunities and challenges of emergent technology. This paper discusses these issues with regard to key research developments in the field of intelligent mobility. A survey about significant emergent technologies was conducted with educators and professionals. Following their selection of intelligent mobility as the future vision of the UAE, an interview was conducted with the director of transportation. Results were corroborated by document analysis. Findings suggest that the future of intelligent mobility in the UAE is promising. The determination to adapt to the changes already exists and the country has been able to accomplish great things when it has taken the initiative.
