On the Relation Between Detectability and Strict Dissipativity for Nonlinear Discrete Time Systems

Nonlinear detectability and strict dissipativity are two properties that imply stability results for nonlinear model predictive control. Despite their similarity, the relation between these two properties has not been studied so far. This letter closes this gap.
