Multiband Orthogonal Wavelet Division Multiplexing: Complexity and Power Peaks Enhancement

This article considers the existing wireless communications efficiency based on the multiband orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (MBOFDM) benchmark. The power efficiency and frame error rates (FERs) have been investigated to find the peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) effect. Two impositions have been made to the benchmark: a new, low-complexity, Haar-based, discrete wavelet transform structure and a constant envelope transformation stage based on the pulsewidth modulation (PWM) technique.
