A New Type of Small Size and Multiband Antenna For Interphone Communication

In this paper, a multiband, small size interphone antenna is designed. The antenna is structured by dielectric substrate, reference ground and radiating element. It is excited by a coaxial line with 50Ω characteristic impedance, and the operating frequencies include GSM850/900, DCS1800, PCS1900, GPS1575, UMTS2100, WLAN2400 and LTE2300/2500. The simulated results show that the S11 of antenna is less than -10dB in all of the bands except GSM850/900. The antenna has some advantages, easy for making and integrating, small size and low cost. So it can be used in interphone communication successfully.
