Research on Lung Tumor Cell Image Processing and Identification

To process and analyze medical photos using computers can effectively assist doctors in making diagnosis about tumors. Aided by the human-image collecting methods-CT and adopting vein-recognition method of lung tumors, this article projects an outlining method based on statistics. It also provides a better recognizing plan through optimization of the calculating process aided by geometry and pattern recognition. A good tumor-recognizing system can automatically divide a CT image into several parts and examine them respectively. It finally gets an accurately delineated tumor area. This system provides much help in a doctor's diagnosis and greatly reduces his work load.
