Analysis of the Technologies and Methodologies of Data Transmission in Distributed Information Systems

In this paper the main methods and technologies of data distribution and delivery are presented. A lot of algorithms which allow selecting the optimum route and server for the content requests of users were described. Also monitoring methods that always allow having the latest information about the status of any server and making optimum load distribution between all edge servers were depicted.
