H/sub /spl infin// control for Lipschitz nonlinear systems via output feedback

This paper deals with the problem of disturbance attenuation via output feedback with internal stability for Lipschitz nonlinear systems. The main result is given in terms of the solutions of a Riccati equation and a Hamilton-Jacobi inequality. The method is shown to be suitable for linearized systems and, locally, for some general nonlinear systems as well. A numerical example is studied to show the feasibility of the presented approach.
