An Analysis Method of Thermal Interface of Cryogenic Cooling Path

Interface thermal conductive material for superconducting magnet cryostat is important for cryogenic cooling path. Calculation and simulation with optimized boundary condition parameter setting is conducted to approach practical application with a method developed. Mechanical function and heating transmission are mainly considered in this paper. Several key steps will be executed: Stress distribution analysis, interface material stress-strain distribution, interface contact area, interface heat transfer model, heating conductivity, thermal radiation, and heating convection. Through these steps, material's type, structures, installation processes to reach balance of functional and economical efficiency can be optimized for the interface.
