Abstract:

The objective of this work is to develop an ontology-framework that will support intelligent systems in decision-making in small and large-scale projects with the application of Peace Engineering. For this, it is necessary to define and delineate moral values, so they can be interpreted by A.I. However, that is not an easy task, and turning them into machine-readable rules is even more challenging. For this reason, we have organized an ontology structure based on the underlying principles of Fairplay algorithms to offer a plausible output for engineering areas. Four main domains are designed to represent the context of Peace Engineering: Artificial Intelligence Safety research, Ethical Engineering, Diversity and Sustainability.
