Goldsmith's Commercialization Model for Feasibility Study of Technology Lithium Battery Pack Drone

Sebelas Maret University has a lithium-ion battery factory as one of the spin-off companies. Currently developing lithium-ion battery cells into lithium batter2y packs with a 20% added value. In this study the development of lithium battery packs for drones / UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). This lithium battery pack technology is prepared as the main component in the drone, which functions for the energy source of the drone drive. This lithium battery pack is being developed by the team to become a new company with Energy Smart UNS as a supplier of battery cells. This technology is under development to be commercialized with the level of technology readiness at level 6 (Prototype is shown in the relevant environment). The method used is a qualitative method by looking at and comparing similar companies. The data collection is divided into two, namely primary data and secondary data. This study uses the goldsmith commercialization approach. This commercialization model looks at three aspects: technical, market and business aspects with six levels of each aspect. This research review in stage 2 the technical feasibility study and also measures the level of readiness of lithium battery pack technology with the TRL method. so that the results of this commercialization can be applied. The expected results from the evaluation with this model obtained phase increase to the growth phase and TRL value - at level 8 (technology systems are complete and qualified through testing and demonstration in the actual environment / application).
