Polarization Reconfigurable Microstrip Patch Antenna for Wireless Communication Applications

Wireless applications patch antenna with reconfigurable polarization is proposed. It has an ability to switch between circular polarization and linear polarization. The operating mode for this antenna is changed through the diode pin operation. This antenna is proposed and designed using FR-4 substrate with simple single-feed square structure. This antenna offers a wideband return loss of more than - 10dB between 5.73GHz to 5.87GHz which can be applied in wireless applications. It has been fabricated on 20 x 29 mm
