Incorporating Unbalanced Operation Constraints of Three-Phase Distributed Generation

In this letter, we provide a convex-concave procedure based model to approximate the unbalance operation constraints of three-phase fossil-fuel distributed generation. This model transfers the non-convex unbalanced operation constraints into an iterative convex optimization procedure. The simplicity and convexity make it easy to integrate into a broad range of convex distribution optimal power flow formulations.
