Large Disturbance Attenuation Sampled-Data Controller Design for Nonlinear TCSC System

Based on the interference suppression method, a stabilization controller for nonlinear TCSC (thyristor controlled series capacitor)system is proposed in this paper. Considering the influence factors of external unknown large interference on the system, the novel large disturbance attenuation algorithm is investigated by embedding the minimax method in the backstepping process. The method ensures the robustness of the system and effectively reduces the conservativeness caused by existing disturbance treatment. The simulation analysis of power fluctuation and short circuit fault is carried out. The simulation curves show that the designed controller has better transient stability when the power system is subjected to external interference.
