Demodulated Synchrosqueezing Transform

Synchrosqueezing transform (SST) is an interesting time-frequency analysis tool that is able to provide high TF resolution and allow for signal reconstruction. It brings some new insights for understanding this non-stationary world. However, many recent studies show that, some inherent shortcomings are gradually recognized. One of them is that the SST cannot address the frequency-modulated signals effectively, since the SST result will smear heavily. Moreover, a novel demodulated approach is proposed to solve this problem with detailed theory analysis.
