Fixed-Structure Controller Design for Time-Delayed LPV Systems in Input-Output Form

This paper considers the controller design problem for linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems with time delays. Given the plant model in input-output (I-O) form, a new approach is proposed for the design of LPV controller with fixed structure. Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory is employed to establish asymptotic stability of the time-delay system. Considered here are the rather general cases, where the system dynamics have a rational functional dependence on the scheduling parameters. Thus, synthesis conditions can be derived with the application of the full block S-procedure technique. A numerical example is finally given to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed controller design approach.
