Secure Data Sharing Scheme using Identity-based Encryption for e-Health Record

The more healthcare center linking their information system to the global computer network such as the Internet, then It opens access from all over the world and makes the potential for leakage of information getting bigger. The importance of an eHealth record for the patient's health is to be protected from illegal users that can be misused for other purposes. Identity-based encryption (IBE) is one of the appropriate security solutions to protect eHealth record data. The IBE algorithm addresses the problems inherent in conventional cryptographic techniques by using any string as a public key. The system is capable of enhancing the security of e-health records by adding verification processes to three interconnected servers. In this system communication on three servers using data that has been encrypted using IBE, so that each server is able to perform the process of encryption-decryption during data exchange. Only servers that have IDs are able to receive and extract e-health record data. Meanwhile, the experimental results show the practicality regarding the speed of the algorithm used on the system.
