Experimental study of a dual discharge ozone generator for water treatment

This experimental study consists in producing a plasma generator, based on the plane-shaped surface dielectric barrier discharge, for the ozone generation. We opt for this work for modeling and optimization of the surface discharge ozone generation process by electrodes with simple and offset configuration from the preliminary experiments, as well as the MPE method to find an optimal solution in producing the maximum amount of ozone and reducing energy consumption. The second part of this manuscript is dedicated to the treatment of colored water using the optimal reactor, to verify the impact of ozone on the characteristics of treated water.
