Towards Wearable Air Quality Monitoring Systems - Initial Assessments on Newly Developed Sensors

Personal air pollution monitoring is becoming more popular in highly developed communities and new ways of accomplishing this have emerged. New low-cost sensors, which are both cheaper and smaller, but which propose challenges in terms of accuracy, reliability and performance were evaluated. In our work we aim to identify new methods of assessing data quality objectives in reasonable time and costs, while maintaining the accuracy levels of existing methods. Initial assessments of such sensors are presented, especially the measurement reproducibility evaluation between systems which operate in the same environmental conditions.
