Approach to Identify KPAs and KPIs for Higher Education Institutions

Everyone realizes the importance of having a motivated, quality work force, but even our finest people cannot perform at their best due to lack of understanding of institutional/ organizational processes. Poorly understood by employees, how can we expect operations to give best output? People, Process and technology are the major determinants of product cost, schedule, and quality. While process is often described as a node of the process-people-technology triad, it can also be considered the "glue" that ties the triad together. Identification of KPAs and KPIs is the need for today's higher education institutions without which survival of education system and its working may not justify at par quality output. Overall aim of this paper is to identify and explore all possible KPAs and KPAs for higher educational institutions to balance human resources.
