Nonreciprocal Graphene-Based THz Dividers

In this paper, we suggest and analyze nonreciprocal graphene-based dividers operating in THz region. The developed componenets divide the input signal between two or three output ports and, in addition, they possess isolation properties, i.e. the source of signal connected to the input port is protected against possible unwanted reflections in the other output ports. The dividers consist of a circular graphene resonator and waveguides coupled to it. These elements are deposited on dielectric substrate of silica and silicon. The graphene resonator is magnetized normally to its plane by a DC magnetic field. The physical principle of the devices is based on the dipole resonance of the magnetized graphene resonator. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the division of the signal between two output ports in the two-way divider is -4 dB and the isolation of the input port from the output ones is better than -15 dB in the frequency band of 6%. The central frequency of the divider is 7.4THz, the biasing DC magnetic field is 0.6 T.
