Abstract:

In order to support the production or generation of personalized fonts more efficiently, this paper proposes a method of using track and point set to describe the characters of the Chinese characters changed from Regular Script to Semi-cursive Scrip. With reference to the characteristics of Regular script and Semi-cursive script, the trace and point set are used to calculate the strokes, components, and their relationships of the body script to determine whether it is necessary to create a hairspring or stroke and deformation of a part between the strokes. Experiments have shown that under the principle of maintaining the original writing style of the user, the method of changing from Regular Script to Semi-cursive can support the generation of personalized Semi-cursive scrip fonts.
