Doppler Spectrum of Electromagnetic Scattering from Ocean Surface with Foam Distribution

In order to study electromagnetic scattering from sea surface in low frequency and high sea conditions, the electromagnetic scattering of bubbles must be introduced into the electromagnetic scattering calculation of sea surface. In this paper, based on the small slope approximation (SSA) method, the electromagnetic scattering coefficient of wind-driven foam-containing sea surface is modified by equivalent dielectric constant model. Then the Doppler spectral characteristics of the difference is studied. Results show that the foam layer has a significant effect on the Doppler spectral characteristics of the sea surface.
