Doppler Shift and Coherence Time of 5G Vehicular Channels at 3.5 GHz

In this paper, we focus the study on the Doppler characteristics in vehicular network scenario at 3.5 GHz based on our previous channel measurement and modeling. Moreover, the characteristics of small-scale parameters such as the Doppler shift and the coherence time are analysed, respectively. The time-variant characteristics of the vehicular channel at 3.5 GHz band analyzed in this paper can be useful for the selection of frequency band and designs of the future 5G vehicular networks in the suburban environment.
