Abstract:

In this paper, a hybrid algorithm based on Loss of Power Supply Probability (LPSP) and Particle Swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed. The main objective is to deal with the problem of microgrid optimal sizing based on techno-economic analysis. The sizing methodology used the PSO algorithm to determine the optimal configuration of the microgrid while insuring the minimum cost and satisfying the desired loss of power supply probability. A computing code is developed and a flexible graphical interface is designed based on Matlab environment.
