Training of Production Managers for the Industrial and Economic Region

The article analyses the theory and practice of managing the personnel training for enterprises in the industrial region, using the experience of St. Petersburg. The content of the labour of production managers is studied as the basis of the curricula and programmes structure for their training, retraining and advanced training. The experience of specific educational institutions is generalized, where the reserve of managers at various levels of management was cultivated with special professional skills of a manager and at the same time was given the knowledge of a specialist in a particular industry.
