An Evaluation Method of Manufacturing System Health State Based on Mission Reliability

The traditional analysis and evaluation of the manufacturing system health state only considers the failures of composition equipment, and neglects the weight of the manufacturing equipment and the quality of the manufactured products. As the requirements for the complexity of the manufacturing system and the quality of the product increase, the mission reliability of the manufacturing system for manufacturing tasks is needed urgently. At first, the main influencing factors that affect the mission reliability of manufacturing system are analyzed. Then, a mission reliability model for manufacturing system that considering the performance state of manufacturing equipment, the execution state of manufacturing task, and the quality state of manufactured product is proposed. Finally, the model is validated by a case study of an engine cylinder head manufacturing system.
