Adaptive Dual Voltage Control Method for Transitional period of Active Distribution Network

The existing reactive power and voltage control method is not satisfying, at the same time, the regional cooperative control is temporarily unable to be achieved. Aiming at the contradictory status quo, a new adaptive dual voltage control method for transitional period of active distribution network is proposed in this paper. The method includes centralized cooperative control and local self-discipline control, which can be selected according to the communication conditions of different stages of distribution network. Furthermore, the method is proved to be adaptive and practical from three aspects: control architecture, principle and implementation. Moreover, a real feeder is taken to be an example, and the traditional and proposed voltage control method are used to simulate and compare. The results prove that the proposed method performs excellently in reducing power loss and improving voltage level.
