Operation Mechanism of Security Check Technical Specification in Medium and Long Term Power Market

In the long and medium-term power market (LMTPM) in China, power dispatch organization is responsible for both the feasibility of power transaction results and the operation safety of power grid. With the development of power market reform, power market members pay more attention to the standardization of security check, which is a key issue in LMTPM. In this paper, the security check connotation is firstly analyzed and the relevant requirements for the security check technical specification in LMTPM is put forward by comparing with the traditional long and medium-term security check. Then the system structure of security check in LMTPM is proposed and the operation mechanism is clarified from the aspects of basic data, checking methods and so on. Finally, three suggestions for the implementation of the technical specification in China are proposed, including top-level design, operation data disclosure and technology development.
