Iris Recognition and Data Storage on Cloud

Nowadays, human society has entered the digital and network information era. A unique feature of this era is the digitalization of personal identity. The worldwide demand for accurate and reliable identification and authentication is steadily growing, and biometric authentication technologies, such as fingerprint, face, finger vein, iris and DNA, are playing an increasingly important role in our society. Due to the rapid development of Internet and cloud computing technologies, cloud biometric authentication technology is becoming a vital development direction for biometric technology. Among these, iris recognition is an important biometric technology. This paper presents a method for cloud-based iris recognition to illustrate the relationship between cloud computing/storage and cloud recognition.
