Design of a Composite Loaded UWB Miniaturized Vehicle-Mounted Antenna

This paper improves a vehicle-mounted VHF/UHF band ultra-wideband miniaturized disk-cone antenna. By optimizing the design of the parasitic outer ring, the top inner ring, the cone bottom sleeve, and the resistance loading conductive column, the disc-cone antenna can achieve a working bandwidth of about 7.5 octaves, and the largest dimension is about one-fifth of the wavelength of the lowest operating frequency.
