Analysis of Scaling in Cloud Infrastructure

Dedicated servers were used to provide stability in an organization by giving them storage facilities, database and full access of company's resources. As per the evolving of new technologies the data were increasing and there was ample amount of traffic requests which were hard to handle and required to build a multi-server or expansion of the servers, which were costly. This was the birth of cloud server. Cloud server can be refereed as the resources provided to industries by the third party and it's easy to maintain. Users can use whatever service they want at any time. In this paper a study between the dedicated servers and cloud servers has been discussed and the analysis of both the servers through which it determines how cloud servers have maximum benefits over dedicated server.

I. Introduction

Dedicated servers are the standalone server which are in use by some companies which provide them the facility of storing the data and full access to the company's data and functionalities. It is difficult to maintain due to the cost factors and rapid increase in storage which led to birth of cloud servers.
