Ontology Based on Electronic Payment Fraud Prevention

Fraud monitoring systems are a preventive process that trigger and evaluate the overall payment activity to detect suspicious and fraudulent transactions. These systems provide at any time an overall dashboard of electronic payment risks processed by the system. Ontology is the structured set of terms and concepts representing the meaning of an information field. This paper proposes an approach able to detect and prevent suspicious transactions on various electronic payment systems using an ontology. the approach make to share and adaptive the preventives rules of fraud on an ontology based on multiple and various payment systems.
