Designing of Condition Monitoring System for Servo Turret Test Platform

It is a challenge to obtain and analyze abundant experimental data of servo turret test platform effectively. In this paper, information in different working processes of servo turret is presented and the most important signals are selected according to its working principle. Then, from the perspective of hardware design and software development, this article proposes a framework for designing the condition monitoring system of servo turret test platform that could simultaneously obtain control parameters, operation information and condition data. Furthermore, a novel method based on Gaussian Process Regression of short time energy of important signals is proposed to perform condition monitoring for non-stationary and non-periodic signals quickly. The implementation and application of the test system is described, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through abnormal state data.
