Reconstruction and Modeling of Coupling Architecture in the Brain at Limbic Epilepsy

The coupling change effect on the development of pathological activity is very important. To identify temporal evolution of coupling structure in the brain using Granger Causality, we propose the following steps: to determine main temporal-frequency properties of the signal, to construct simplified models of signal sources which reproduce the considered activity main properties, to adjust the method parameters to maximize its sensitivity and specificity using series simulated from the simplified models.
