Analytical Method for Power Grid Dispatching Centralized Thermal Storage to Reduce Wind Abandoned Rate

In order to achieve clean heating and reduce the rate of abandoned wind, the northern region has invested in various heat storage devices, especially the large-capacity heat storage devices invested by thermal power plants to improve adjustment flexibility. In this paper, the calculation method of electric power consumed by large-capacity heat storage device and the calculation method of electric power abandonment wind power are proposed. The relationship between the input timing of the heat storage device and the timing of abandoning wind is researched, and the delay of deep peak shaving of the unit after the input of the heat storage device is discussed. It has been verified by actual data, and it has a demonstration effect on the consumption of wind power through thermal storage in the northern region.
