Terrain correction for quantitative moisture and roughness retrieval using polarimetric SAR data

In this work the potential of a new polarimetric method for terrain topography correction for soil moisture and surface roughness retrieval is investigated. For the estimation of surface parameters two empirical models and one recently developed polarimetry surface scattering model are used.
