An integrated gravimetric system to measure absolute gravity aboard a moving base

The paper considers the construction of an integrated gravimetric system, including one absolute and one relative gravimeters, intended to measure the absolute gravity on a moving base. The developed mock-up gravimetric system is described. The operating procedures and the results of the bench tests and marine trials of the mock-up gravimetric system are discussed. The results of the research and tests have shown the feasibility of measuring the absolute gravity at sea with potential accuracy about 0.1 mGal.
