Ways of Increase Energy Efficiency of Electric Drives Sucker Rod Pump for Oil Production

In the article proposed methods for determining the power characteristics of an electric drive of a sucker rod pump under conditions of a cyclic loading and insufficient counterbalancing. Analytic dependencies are proposed that allow determining the operational values of efficiency and power factor $\cos\varphi$ under cyclic loading. The operating modes of the electric drives of pumping units can be optimized with the help of these calculations. Thus, the specific energy consumption can be reduced for pumping oil production and the costs of oil producing companies on energy purchasing.
