Information Security Ensuring in Industrial Networks on Digital Substations

The paper contains the solution of problems of security and information protection in industrial networks on digital substations. The subject is due to the high rate of a development of smart grids. The study includes an analysis of the current state of the issue of information security ensuring of the software and hardware complex of a digital substation in accordance with the existing standards and methods. A feature of industrial networks under consideration is the introduction of combined digital current and voltage instrument transformers of a new type in high-voltage electrical substations. The work was performed to determine the functional requirements for hardware and software for new intelligent electronic devices for digital substations in order to further secure the technical protection of information.
