2018 Scott Helt Memorial Award for the Best Paper Published in the IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting

The 2018 Scott Helt Memorial Award was awarded to Seho Myung, Sung-Ik Park, Kyung-Joong Kim, Jae-Young Lee, Sunhyoung Kwon, Jeongchang Kim, for their paper, “Offset and Normalized Min-Sum Algorithms for ATSC 3.0 LDPC Decoder.” The papers appeared in the IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, vol. 63, no. 4, pp. 734–739, Dec. 2017. The purpose of the IEEE Scott Helt Memorial Award is to recognize exceptional publications in the field and to stimulate interest in and encourage contributions to the fields of interest of the Society.
