Unified Methodology of Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Based on Number Theory

This paper describes number theory and analog/mixed-signal IC design, to make an attempt to establish the unified methodology of analog /mixed-signal IC design. First our five research results of ADC, DAC and sampling system design based on Fibonacci sequence theory as well as DAC, TDC design based on number theory are reviewed. Then we examine the statement that Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio lead to well-balanced redundancy of analog/mixed-signal IC design.
