NMR Investigation of Composite Material, Formed by Fullerenol in Polymer Matrix of Polyvinyl Alcohol

The structure, formed by polyhydroxylated fullerene (fullerenol), impregnated into a flexible transparent matrix, was studied by NMR method. As a host material water-soluble polymer - polyvinyl alcohol was used. The concentration of filling compound was almost at a maximum permissible value in order to provide intense signal of nuclear spin system of C
₆₀
molecules. The observed

C NMR spectra demonstrated a number of characteristics, which presumably can be explained by the existence of fullerenol clusters.
