The Design and Test of Wide Band Water Load

For the absorption and measurement of broad band microwave, a wide band water load based on the phase offset theory of geometrical optics approach is designed. Electromagnetic simulation results suggest that the S
₁₁
of TE°01 mode is less than -30dB at the range of 12-18GHz. Additionally, the cold test shows that the measurement results of the water load are good agreement with the electromagnetic simulation results.
